We are passionate about sharing our love for Afro dance and music. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, there's a place for you at SYL Afro Dance classes. We provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where dancers of all ages and skill levels can learn, grow, and express themselves through the captivating movements of Afrobeat and African dancing.

We invite you to join the SYL Afro Dance family. Join our exciting, high-energy and empowering classes which focus on dances across Africa and more! No previous dance experience is required – just bring your energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn. Our classes are perfect for people who love to dance and want to learn how to dance to afro music.

 

First Class Free

The first class you attend is free, so come along and give a class a try. Book your free session here. Please complete this form so that we know you will be joining us and for us to make sure that there is availability.

Ages: 6-11 (primary school)

Location: Gainsborough Sports Centre, 5 Brazier's Wood Road, Ipswich, IP3 0SP

Time: 5:00 - 6:00 pm

Ages: 11-17 (secondary school)

Location: Northgate High School Arts Centre, Sidegate Lane, Ipswich, IP4 3DL

Thursdays

Time: 6:00 - 7:00 pm

Ages: 18+ (adults)
